They Eat Horses, Don't They?

Regardless of how you feel about horse meat, how many times do Republicans have to watch this Administration thumb it's nose at the other branches of government in a mad scramble to lick the boots of big business (or create a police state) before they realize that the Bush White House has a fundamental contempt for the rule of law?

And that doesn't even begin to touch signing statements, which this administration has made such extensive use of. For all the griping that President Bush does about judges legislating from the bench (a problem that doesn't actually exist), he seems to ignore the fact that he can't legislate from the Oval Office either.

Again, this is what happens when you run with the wrong sort of crowd--namely, leftovers from the Nixon Era, the same guys that wanted to dress up the White House Police in jackboots, pantaloons and plumed helmets.
