Do-Nothing Republicans

GOP strategy in Congress appears to be block everything, then go on TV and whine that the Democrats aren't getting anything done, relying on the fact that most Americans don't understand how many votes it takes to pass anything.

It would also help if people like Tucker Carlson and George Stephanopoulous wouldn't go on TV and blame "bitter partisan politics" for things like the failure of the immigration bill, which died because 2/3 of Republicans opposed it. It's a bit much to expect people watching ABC or CNN to hear that and go "Really? I should google that claim."

Don't you know? Politics are only "bitter" and "partisan" (and therefore bad) when Democrats are accidentally winning.
