Blasphemous tele-Pharisee and blood-diamond smuggler Pat Robertson bestows his "blessing" upon the truth-challenged megalomaniac, Rudy Giuliani. No word yet on whether Rudy! will now call for the assassination of Hugo Chavez or blame "abortionists...feminists...gays and lesbians" for 9-11.

I'm still at a loss to explain--given his moderate social views and personal marital history--the warm reception Giulani is getting from Christian conservatives. Granted, they know their closest soul-mate Huckabee doesn't have much of a chance, but of the "top three" candidates I still would have expected Romney or even McCain to get their endorsements before Giuliani. They must know something I don't.
