Just a simple Cherokee trial lawyer, Barkman has been forcing his opinions on others in print since, for reasons that passeth understanding, he was an unsuccessful candidate for state representative in 2002. His philosophy: "If people had wanted me to be nice, they should've voted for me."

Obama and a bit of Churchhill
So it was inevitable, after all, except here in the USA. Didn't see that coming.
The photo -- of what is probably intended to be that of a Native American wrapped in what is apparently an American flag -- reminds me of the time when Kinky Friedman pissed off Buffy St. Marie on stage at a performance. Kinky came out on stage wearing a faux Indian headress. Buffy started hitting him and chased him offstate.

As well she should have, though one hardly needs an excuse to hit Kinky Friedman, who is basically Ralph Nader only less funny.
