Just a simple Cherokee trial lawyer, Barkman has been forcing his opinions on others in print since, for reasons that passeth understanding, he was an unsuccessful candidate for state representative in 2002. His philosophy: "If people had wanted me to be nice, they should've voted for me."

John Edwards is the New Al Gore...

...meaning the MSM punditocracy hate his guts and will do anything to defeat or marginalize him.

And in other news, Dennis Kucinich's running mate Ron Paul turns out to be even more repulsive than previously imagined.

John Edwards' Hair = the New Al Gore

"Liberal media," my ass. So, apparently, the media-ocracy that helped Ralph Nader bring you George W. Bush have now decided to hate John Edwards in a group slam-book worthy of any roving gang of 12 year old girls. Because he's rich. Or relatively young-looking. Or because of his hair. Who really knows? The point is, clearly Edwards is History's Greatest Monster, much worse than Mitt Romney (who looks as though he was assembled from a kit).

In other news, hard-hitting investigative journalism reveals that Hillary Clinton has boobs. President urges calm.

GORE PWNS BARTON

Film at Eleven! Cong. Joe Barton continues to solidify his position as the single biggest wanker in the entire Texas Delegation. A rare combination of nerdy, ignorant, petty and self-important, Smokey Joe has gotten so silly and shrill that he is rapidly descending into self-parody. He is, in fact, the William Shatner of Congress, only less funny. I wish I had a link to Gore's testimony in the Senate, when Senator Barbara Boxer shot down Senator James Inhofe when he tried to take control of the hearing with the devastating line, "Elections have consequences."

UPDATE: Blognonymous has the video of Barbara Boxer smacking down James Inhofe.

What Might Have Been, Part II

In Newsweek, Jonathan Alter explores an alternate history where Bush ignores the neo-cons in his response to 9/11. It's not very realistic, of course; Bush is a neo-con, not their prisoner or their puppet, but it shows how the world might've been a much better place, even without Al Gore in the White House.

Al Gore Scares Your Children!

Via Chasing Orion. Yes, I know there's probably some clever way to link this directly from YouTube but I don't know what it is. And besides, it's a blog; you get what you paid for.
