Just a simple Cherokee trial lawyer, Barkman has been forcing his opinions on others in print since, for reasons that passeth understanding, he was an unsuccessful candidate for state representative in 2002. His philosophy: "If people had wanted me to be nice, they should've voted for me."

Preparing In Case We Accidentally Win? Good.

ANY talk even remotely close to impeachment? Bad. And stupid. What happened to the Republicans when they started going after Bill Clinton hammer and tongs? They ended up looking like morons and boosted Clinton to his highest approval ratings. Also, remember Iran-Contra? Congress did such a bungled job of "investigating" with their sideshow committee hearings they ended up making that bucolic fascist Oliver North into a hero of the tinfoil hat crowd and ruined any chances for a meaningful criminal prosecution. If Nancy Pelosi does become Speaker, she would do well to remember recent history.

This is an excellent point. At the very least the talk is premature, though I don't actually that even a Democrat Senate would ultimately impeach. Try...maybe. But not convict.
