From Our "Scary If True" Department...

...the Times of London says "some" of America's "most senior military commanders" are threatening to resign if President Bush orders an attack on Iran. For such an incredible scoop, this story is very short and lightly sourced, referring only to "highly placed defence and intelligence sources." This fact alone makes me suspicious that it's anything more than the same sort of scuttlebutt that's been going on in the Pentagon for as long as the Iraq War has been trending south.
