Just a simple Cherokee trial lawyer, Barkman has been forcing his opinions on others in print since, for reasons that passeth understanding, he was an unsuccessful candidate for state representative in 2002. His philosophy: "If people had wanted me to be nice, they should've voted for me."
...George W. Bush, Dick Cheney and John McCain all believe that the President of the United States can arrest US Citizens on US soil and lock them up forever without charges, a trial or a lawyer, solely on the President's say-so and that this decision can never be limited by Congress or reviewed by the Courts.

Has anybody been as consistently excellent as Glenn Greenwald over the last couple of years at writing about the abuses of this administration? Why doesn't he have a Pulitzer yet?
Yeah, I have been consistenly impressed by his ruthlessly logical, impeccably-researched articles.
