Friends in Low Places

Turns out, according to recently-released emails, the White House offered Abramoff help with "damage control." Because, you know, the White House is so good at that (cough! 31%! cough!).

Amazing. That would track with some other articles I've read indicating that Bush is losing some of the Infra-Red vote (better known as Kitten Bitin' Republicans). Any loss of that core constituency kicks the legs out from under his poll numbers.
