I was a bit too young for that one (being only 5 at the time) and I admit that most of my impressions of the man come from Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear & Loathing on the Campaign Trail," not exactly complimentary. Still, in retrospect, you can easily imagine how much better off the country would be now if he had won.
